For EU harmonised standards, Singulabel treats references published in the Official Journal of the European Union as the official reference basis for identifying harmonised standards where applicable.

You must not treat Singulabel outputs as legal advice, certification, testing approval, notified body opinion, customs clearance confirmation, marketplace approval, product safety approval, or final compliance determination.

User Responsibilities for Singulabel Outputs

Before using Singulabel, you must understand and agree to the following responsibilities and obligations.

(1) Responsibility for the Truthfulness, Accuracy, and Completeness of Information

You must ensure that all product information, technical materials, instruction documents, images, product descriptions, manufacturer details, responsible person details, supplier documents, and other materials submitted to Singulabel are true, lawful, accurate, complete, up to date, and not false, misleading, incomplete, or materially omitted.

If inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, false, misleading, or insufficient information causes the generated analysis, label, declaration, warning, translation, compliance reference, QR-linked content, or other output to be inaccurate, incomplete, unsuitable, or misleading, you are solely responsible for the resulting consequences.

(2) Understanding the Tool-Based Nature of Generated Content

You understand and agree that the content generated by Singulabel is an automated assistance result based on the information you submit, system rules, AI model reasoning, templates, regulatory references, and technical processing.

Singulabel output does not constitute an authoritative institutional conclusion and is not equivalent to a test report, certificate, conformity assessment result, official approval, legal opinion, regulatory decision, or professional compliance conclusion.

Generated content has not been reviewed, approved, verified, or confirmed by a Notified Body, testing laboratory, certification body, authorised representative, responsible person, customs authority, product safety authority, regulator, marketplace platform, or other competent authority.

(3) Manual Review Before Use

If you intend to use Generated Output for product label creation, technical file preparation, customs declaration, product registration, marketplace submission, market placement, product sales, compliance archive, packaging design, instruction manual preparation, or any other commercial or regulatory purpose, you must conduct sufficient manual review, proofreading, cross-checking, and risk assessment based on complete product materials.

Where necessary, you should consult qualified compliance advisers, certification bodies, testing laboratories, legal professionals, authorised representatives, responsible persons, or other competent professionals to obtain appropriate legal, technical, or compliance confirmation.

You must not directly use Singulabel output as final product compliance evidence without manual verification and professional review where required.

Compliance Marks, Symbols, and Representative Identifiers

Singulabel may generate, display, format, or include compliance marks, regulatory symbols, recycling symbols, warning icons, authorised representative identifiers, responsible person identifiers, or similar visual elements as part of label preparation workflows.

These may include, without limitation:

  • CE marking;
  • UKCA marking;
  • UKNI marking;
  • RoHS-related references;
  • WEEE symbol;
  • battery or recycling symbols;
  • EPR-related symbols or references;
  • age warning symbols;
  • EU responsible person or authorised representative identifiers;
  • UK responsible person or authorised representative identifiers;
  • Turkish responsible person or authorised representative identifiers;
  • French Info-Tri or sorting-related references;
  • Italian material identification or packaging-related references;
  • Spanish recycling or sorting-related references;
  • food-contact symbols;
  • textile care symbols;
  • best-before or use-by date references;
  • general green recycling symbols;
  • other compliance-related signs, marks, symbols, or label elements.

All compliance marks, symbols, warning icons, representative identifiers, recycling symbols, or similar elements provided by Singulabel are general template elements intended to improve formatting efficiency and label preparation efficiency.

(1) Not a Substitute for Certification or Verification

The display, generation, formatting, or inclusion of any compliance mark or symbol by Singulabel does not constitute any guarantee of product compliance.

It also does not mean that SVNGU has completed certification verification, test report verification, conformity assessment review, registration verification, notified body review, marketplace review, customs review, or regulatory review.

SVNGU does not conduct substantive verification of whether your product has obtained the relevant test reports, technical documentation, certificates, declarations, registrations, responsible person arrangements, EPR registrations, or other legal prerequisites required for using any compliance mark, symbol, declaration, or representative identifier.

SVNGU assumes that the user has already obtained the relevant certification, testing, registration, technical documentation, or legal basis required for using the relevant mark or symbol. SVNGU is not responsible for substantively verifying the actual compliance status of the product.

(2) Verification Obligation

You must ensure that your product has actually obtained the relevant certification, testing, conformity assessment, registration, authorisation, technical documentation, declaration, or other legal basis before using any corresponding mark, symbol, or identifier.

You must not use Singulabel to affix, generate, display, or publish a compliance mark, regulated symbol, authorised representative identifier, responsible person identifier, recycling mark, or other regulated label element where your product has not obtained the required legal basis or does not meet the applicable requirements.

Use of Singulabel-generated labels, symbols, or label content does not mean that SVNGU guarantees the compliance, suitability, or legal accuracy of your product label. You must independently verify the applicability and accuracy of all label content and ensure compliance with the current laws and regulations of the destination market.

(3) Consistency with Supporting Documents

You must ensure that the information shown on labels, declarations, QR-linked pages, and generated documents is fully consistent with your actual product files, including but not limited to:

  • manufacturer name;
  • manufacturer address;
  • responsible person details;
  • authorised representative details;
  • importer information;
  • distributor information;
  • product model;
  • product category;
  • product materials;
  • batch number;
  • EAN or barcode information;
  • test reports;
  • certificates;
  • declarations of conformity;
  • technical files;
  • supplier documents;
  • user manuals;
  • packaging information.

Any inconsistency between generated labels and your actual documents may result in marketplace rejection, customs issues, regulatory risk, product recall, enforcement action, or other consequences for which you remain solely responsible.

(4) Mandatory Registration and Local Obligations

In certain countries or product categories, affixing a mark, symbol, or label element may not be sufficient. Additional registration, reporting, recycling fee payment, EPR registration, documentation retention, local representative appointment, authorised representative arrangement, or responsible person arrangement may be required.

For example, when selling into certain European markets, including but not limited to Germany, France, Italy, Spain, or the United Kingdom, product-specific and country-specific rules may require additional EPR registration, recycling fee payment, packaging material identification, sorting instructions, WEEE registration, battery registration, textile-related registration, or other local compliance steps.

You are responsible for checking and fulfilling all such obligations before placing the product on the relevant market.

(5) Dynamic Legal and Policy Updates

Laws, regulations, technical standards, marketplace rules, customs requirements, product safety expectations, platform policies, national packaging rules, EPR rules, recycling symbols, and enforcement practices may change over time.

Examples may include changes to Italian packaging labelling rules, French sorting information rules, UKCA transitional arrangements, EU product safety requirements, national EPR rules, marketplace labelling rules, or customs enforcement expectations.

You should regularly consult qualified legal, compliance, product safety, certification, or regulatory professionals to confirm whether your product labels, symbols, declarations, and supporting documents remain current and compliant.

Reference Classification of Compliance Marks and Symbols

The following classification is provided for general reference only. It is not exhaustive and does not constitute legal advice, certification advice, or confirmation that your product is entitled to use any mark or symbol.

(1) Market Access Marks

Market access marks may relate to legal thresholds for placing certain products on a market. They generally require appropriate test reports, technical documentation, conformity assessment, declarations, or other supporting documents.

  • CE marking — European Union / European Economic Area: indicates that a product falling within the scope of applicable EU legislation is declared by the responsible economic operator to meet relevant EU requirements for safety, health, environmental protection, or other applicable objectives.
  • UKCA marking — Great Britain: a UK market access mark used for certain goods placed on the market in England, Wales, and Scotland after Brexit, where applicable.
  • UKNI marking — Northern Ireland: a mark used in certain circumstances to indicate conformity with rules applicable in Northern Ireland where a UK notified body is involved.
  • RoHS — European Union: relates to restrictions on the use of certain hazardous substances, such as lead, mercury, cadmium, and other restricted substances, in electrical and electronic equipment.
  • No 0-3 / age warning symbol — General safety warning: commonly used for toys or products containing small parts or other risks unsuitable for children under three years of age, where applicable.

(2) Authorised Representative and Responsible Person Identifiers

Authorised representative or responsible person identifiers may relate to cross-border compliance contact requirements where a non-local manufacturer, importer, or seller is required to designate a local contact or responsible economic operator.

  • EU / EC REP — European Union authorised representative: may identify a party responsible for certain compliance contact, documentation, or regulatory communication functions in the EU, depending on the applicable product framework.
  • UK REP — United Kingdom authorised representative or responsible person: may identify a party responsible for certain UK market compliance matters, depending on the applicable product framework.
  • TUR REP — Türkiye authorised representative: may identify a party appointed for Türkiye market compliance purposes, where applicable.

These identifiers do not themselves prove that a valid appointment exists. You must ensure that any representative or responsible person information used on your label is based on a real, valid, and documented arrangement.

(3) Environmental and Recycling Marks

Environmental and recycling marks may relate to EPR, waste classification, recycling instructions, national sorting rules, packaging material identification, or product-specific recycling obligations.

  • French Info-Tri references: may relate to sorting information for waste electrical and electronic equipment, packaging, textiles, or other covered product streams.
    • FR INFO TRI DEEE: sorting reference for waste electrical and electronic equipment.
    • FR INFO TRI EMBALLAGE: packaging sorting reference indicating that packaging should be placed in the appropriate recycling stream.
    • FR INFO TRI TEXTILE: textile-related sorting reference.
  • Italian material identification references: may relate to packaging material identification, such as plastic codes including PET 1, PP 5, PS 6; paper codes including PAP 20–23; or glass codes including GL 70–72.
  • Spanish recycling or sorting references: may relate to sorting colour references, such as yellow for plastic or metal, blue for paper or cardboard, and green for glass, where applicable.

These marks, references, or symbols may be subject to local legal rules, design requirements, category-specific obligations, registration requirements, fee payment obligations, or official guidance. You must verify the applicable country-specific requirements before using them.

(4) Food Safety and Industry-Common Symbols

Some symbols or label elements may be used in specific industries or product contexts.

  • Food-contact symbol: may indicate that a product or packaging material is intended to be suitable for food contact, where supported by applicable materials, testing, and documentation.
  • Best Before / Use By references: may indicate recommended consumption, use, or shelf-life information, where applicable.
  • Care labels: may provide textile care instructions such as washing, drying, ironing, bleaching, or professional maintenance instructions.
  • Green recycling symbols: may be general environmental or recycling-related symbols, depending on the specific context and jurisdiction.

These symbols must not be used unless they accurately reflect the actual product, material, intended use, testing basis, supporting documentation, and applicable legal requirements.

High-Risk or Mandatory Certification Products

For products that are high-risk, specially regulated, technically complex, safety-sensitive, or subject to mandatory certification, registration, conformity assessment, filing, testing, or documentation requirements, you should appoint or consult qualified third-party professionals before placing the product on the market.

Such professionals may include certification bodies, testing laboratories, notified bodies, legal advisers, compliance consultants, authorised representatives, responsible persons, product safety experts, customs advisers, or other qualified specialists.

You must not use Singulabel output as a substitute for mandatory evidence, test reports, certificates, technical files, declarations, conformity assessment procedures, product registrations, EPR registrations, customs documents, or other proof required by applicable laws or regulations.

For high-risk, regulated, or complex products, including but not limited to toys, electrical products, batteries, cosmetics, food-contact materials, chemicals, machinery, PPE, children's products, medical-related products, textiles, and products requiring CE marking, UKCA marking, EPR registration, or other regulated conformity marks, you should obtain professional legal, compliance, testing, certification, or regulatory review before relying on any Singulabel output.
